My Lonely Heart...

Love reckons hours for months, and days for years; And every little absence is an age.
--John Dryden

Days of absence, sad and dreary, Clothed in sorrow's dark array,
Days of absence, I am weary; She (He) I love is far away.
--Jean-Jacques Rousseau

Our hours in love have wings; in absence, crutches.
--Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra

I feel like this seperation will never end, there is not gleam of light at the end of each day, just me and my bed and a few "friends" to drown out the absence of my beloved. I am relying on prayer and His presence to get me through this short but long moment in time. I really feel like I am missing something as severe as my right arm, I still have 2 1/2 more days! In all reality a piece of me truly is missing...

I can understand exactly how you feel when your husband is away. Mine goes away often for a couple of nights at a time for his job. I lift up a prayer for you right now.
I have been reading your blog for a long time now (about a year)and enjoy it so much and your littles also. I am a homeschooling mom with 2 boys. I use to have a blog and then life just got crazy and I believe that you had commented at one time at that blog. I now have a new one that I started. Please come visit and enjoy.

It is tough being away from your man. I usually go see my family for a week at a time at least twice a year. It is tough. He works late and I dont sleep. But I cherish everyday that I am with my family and thank God that I have a husband who will let me do it. I also look forward to the time that I will see hubby again and get to spend some quality time with him cause he has worked late so he can take off early when we get back.

Cherish these days with Just you and your kids. Do something special for daddy for when he gets back. And look forward to the day he will return...

Much Prayers
Crystal
